When most people think of micro-finance they think of a banking service that assists people in developing countries to start a business to help uplift then out of poverty. But did you know that micro-finance, also so known as micro-credit, is also designed to assist people who are low income and unemployed who are not able to obtain conventional mainstream banking services to have a savings account? Micro-finance is designed to help the poverty stricken so that they can become productive citizens and create generational wealth.
